New Decisions Taken Regarding the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year at Our University

Based on the letter dated March 31, 2023, titled “New decision regarding the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year” from the Higher Education Council Presidency Education-Teaching Department:

- Due to the allocation of student dormitories to earthquake victims, causing accommodation problems, all theoretical and practical courses in academic units (except those currently conducted face-to-face) to be conducted through distance education method until April 24, 2023,

- Midterm exams for the spring semester in all our academic units (except for programs that are granted special student status and/or include practical training and are conducted face-to-face) to be conducted through distance education method between April 08-16, 2023,

- 03 Postponed “practices related to courses” until April 03, 2023, to be conducted face-to-face within the spring semester, summer term, or the next academic term, or in the form of assignments, projects, etc., as determined by the academic units,

- In evaluations to be conducted; open-ended or multiple-choice online exams, assignments, online quizzes, projects, Learning Management System (LMS) activities, LMS usage analytics, and similar applications can be used,

- The education-teaching method to be applied after April 24, 2023, to be evaluated by our University Senate and announced again at a later date, regarding the matters;

As of 03.04.2023, exclusively for the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year, with the University Senate Decision dated March 31, 2023, and numbered 532/1, it has been deemed appropriate to be implemented in our University.
